Saturday afternoon we were sight casting for reds in the middle of Sabine lake using topwaters! wow !!Sometimes when we would catch 1 there would be 1 or 2 more swimming along side.I had a 27" hooked,and another red just as big jumped out of the water and over it, and it was not hooked ??lost a red after it straightend all the treble hooks on my top dog,ended up keeping 5 bigger reds and 7 nice troutup to 23".Could not count how many blow ups,lost fish,& fish even close to legal size.

yeah I was there Saturday caught so many fish i lost count we would hook a red then have a hoginar tied on and jig it under the boat and caught five more reds Yes it was an incredible day
