Quote:
IDABEL — Authorities this morning recovered the body of a man who was swept over a dam in the Little River near Idabel while he and two others were noodling, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

Christopher Dale Chapman, 27, of Idabel and a companion were caught in a current and swept over a low-water dam about 4 p.m. Friday, troopers said. They had been hand-fishing for catfish west of the dam on the river's south bank.

Chapman disappeared under the water, but the other person made it to shore, the patrol reported. Chapman's body was recovered around 6:20 a.m. today about 250 yards from where he was last seen.

Chapman was not using a flotation device, troopers said. The others were not identified.

I have always had the eerie feeling that I am going to die from a snake bite.

I dont trust anything that dont have shoulders, plus dont trust most things that do have shoulders.

Guess that's why I like shooting shiznit!

I just don't find the rush of sticking your hand in a hole and having something clamp down on it.

I am scared to go noodling, I am afraid I'd noodle up a cottonmouth.

Most of those guys are more affraid of beavers than snakes. You don't find snakes under water much, but you do beavers.

Meth lab found in state building in Tulsa

Tulsa police and Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a meth lab has been found in a stairwell of the State Services Building in downtown Tulsa.

OHP Lt. George Brown calls it the most brazen location he's ever seen a meth lab.

The lab was found about 10 a.m. Monday by groundskeepers and investigators believe it was built after the building closed Friday. It was found at the bottom of the stairwell in an area hidden from easy view.

Authorities say a police HAZMAT team was able to remove the lab without disrupting business at any of the state offices.

The building houses agencies ranging from the Department of Human Services to child support offices.

A note was left by a used syringe that read :
Gone fishin frown
