Killing the cats on these fiberglass bank poles. I thought I'd share how I make them (the way I attach them is a bit unique). I do a quick release line on mine that I think is easier to hang and take off while in the current of a big river. Anyway..... hope someone enjoys this. I set some out tonight and will be getting up early to check'em. Got some trotlines out as well. Found a nice 40 foot hole below a wing dike tonight! Sweet!

Looks fishy to me. Great vid. Down where I am, there's a bit too much traffic to leave gear out overnight like that. But I do like the setup and the pig cat you got with it too.

Not bad! Whereabouts in Missouri are you? In case you didn't know, I post a Catfish Calendar for Yellows & Blues here on TFF. It will work there, as well as here in Texas. Even though Friday 17th is BFT (Buffet) & Saturday the 18th is ZIP, they are also both according to the Roam-Feed pattern, both my picks for a 2 day YellowCat run (PYC days). Be sure & see the Key for extra info/tips.
Depending how tall you are, I estimate that Op to be between 35 & 45 pounds. If you are really tall, then it might be up to another 10 pounds.

Ya.... I'm very lucky to live where I do. I'm 1 mile from a Missouri River private boat ramp. I pay $150 per year to use it, and I get my money's worth. If I see 2 boats out on this stretch of river at a time, it would be a rare thing....... plus.... I would probably know them. Getting ready to go out to check my lines in about an hour.

Not bad! Whereabouts in Missouri are you? I live close to Columbia, MO in the Missouri River hills. You're really good at guessing. I'm 6'4" 300 lbs, and the fish I'm holding weighed 40 lbs. Not 'huge' for a Flathead, but very tasty.

Not bad at all. Yes, I figured you might be over 6 feet, as using the boat heighth behind you on the trailer as a clue. And if I was correct, that could have added even more due to angles, as to the Op's weight.
Back in the 1980s (1983-1986), I had a place I had free access to on the Trinity River about 25 bends down from TX Hwy 21 bridge. It was not as wide as the Missouri River, but it was great. I camped & fished from there, on upstream 2+ bends up, to what I called "The Wall" (it was 25' there, about 20' on down to camp). Further up river there was a 40' deep area after the 7th bend, extending just beyond the 8th bend (which was just up from the Fort Trinidad pipeline that crossed the river up anove). Lots of good memories & fish from that time, including "Big'Un".
