Today on Lake Tawakoni was Jared and his dad Rick. Jared lives in the Austin area and came down to visit with his dad and they wanted to some crappie fishing.

Not long into the trip it started raining and lighting. After dodging all this and sheltering we decided to give it up for another day. I asked if we can stop at one more pile before heading in and they agreed.

Caught a few there and then the weather gave us a break. We started to to fill the box. Fun guys to fish with! Thank you guys again, and looking forward to next time. Ended the day with 35 crappie, enjoy your fish fry!

Choice of baits today was BoneHead Tackle Stump Bugs White Lighting and Black Neon. Order your Bonehead today at www.boneheadtackle.com

I have next Saturday and Sunday open if you would like to get on a nice mess of crappie.

Saturday was Efrem and his friend Jason on Lake Fork. Even though the rain and cooler temperatures felt great. The cloud cover made for a tough bite, with lots of fish scattered. Witch made us work for everyone of are fish. Fork can be a very stubborn lake at times. Fish caught in 12 to 20 foot on brush and timber. But we stuck it out and somehow managed a 2 man limit. Thanks again guys!!!

Todays Baits was BoneHead Tackle Stump Bugs white lighting and black neon. Go to www.boneheadtackle.com to get yours!!

I have openings left in August if anyone wants to go catch some Crappie !!!!!

Yesterday on Lake Tawakoni was Jason his daughter Mackenzie and Jeremy and his son Payton.

On the first pile we pulled up to we took twelve from their home. Next three piles nothing but short fish. So we made a big move. We began filling the cooler slowly but surely. The bite was light and they wanted the bait coming up slow.

The kids out fished their dads. Mackenzie had big fish of the trip to! Way to go girl!

We were fishing 14-18 using BoneHead Tackle Stump Bugs in White Lighting and Black Neon.

At the end of the day we managed 75 crappie! Not a bad mess of crappie for the middle of summer.

Anyone looking to get of some summer crappie action, give me a call. I have openings in August.
