My gauge showed 56-58 last week -- main lake.
that was before that hard cold front hit and it got below freezing a couple of nights.

Last Sunday we saw anywhere from 58-62. Drop shots in the bends of channels worked ok for us but not much size. Heard that around marker 23 if you can find grass jerk baits and senkos worked. We averaged about 20-25 fish a day but nothing with right at 2lb being the biggest. Lots of 12-13 inch fish are shallow.

Headed down on Tuesday for three days of fishing. Looking forward to warmer temps (water and air) and less rain. Hoping to find fish shallow and hungry!
Wind is always a factor nut we will be looking for them up the Rio and Devils depending on direction.

Guide trip yesterday we had 17 in the first hour up to 4 lbs then we moved around catching a few here and there. Majority were shallow with Tx rig watermelon lizards & craws. Over the past week a 10 and 2 9s have been caught that I know of..

Caught them last week fishing the hard bottom between the large grass beds in 15 to 25 feet TX rig, every now and then Id catch a few roaming the edges of the grass in 12 ft with 5XD and a Lucky Craft Pointer 112.
