Its silver flake glitter over silver color, not just silver color. Ive been wanting to see it in the sunshine but we only seem to have cloudy drizzle days. Do both you have silver flake rigs and if so, do you have any pics of them? Maybe its broken up enough not to be brutal in the sun, but it sure looks like it would be bright.
They had a silver flake Skeeter last year and it was bright in the sunshine! Mine has the silver flake cap and it's never bothered me any.

819 is about 70mph rig and 919 is mid 70s, but Phoenix chinewalk bad. They say the 819 is close to the chinewalk speed but doesnt quite get there. Ive never ridden in one though, just going by what I read. The 819 should be around $46-$48k, should is the key word. Everyone has their own opinions of chine walking but my Phoenix is actually better about not walking than boats I've had in the past. Granted, if over trimmed it will start walking just like any other boat but it's an easy fix.

My boat has an 8" manual plate and I can run 73 before it gets to bad. But I will take a solid 70 with one hand any day of the week. Lots of guys running 919's and bumping upper 70's with a hydraulic plate. I rode as a co-angler for two years in the BFL, rode in a lot of different boats. I will put the ride of my boat in rough water up against any out there. Drive one, ride one, before you make a decision.

I swear it looks super skinny in that picture. Maybe its the big fish that makes the boat look small. I wish I could find someone with a 19 to ride with, they are more mythical than unicorns.

dmr183, It's a 618, the smallest they make. That was the only pic I could find that showed the silver cap (believe it or not.. )
