Last time I was over there about 4 months ago, progress was still kind of slow. They had it all fenced off real good though to keep people out.

I�ll be pretty surprised if the final result looks much like the master plan they been pitching from the get go.
I�ve moved away from the area now but I sure did miss getting my yearly supply of tasty native pecans from out there.

I had a guy who would do cracked and blown on those little buggers for a real reasonable price. He had 2 machines set up just for those. There was two trees out their that made those round ones that were the tastiest of all. Not really natives but still had that rock hard thick shell. Oh well, nothing stays the same forever. Not even the crappie spots.

The City of Rowlett aka "Libville" is involved with the construction. Do not expect any progress for at least 7 years. Have you seen the "Bridge to Nowhere" that cost Rowlett taxpayers $1.7M? It is off the Hiway 66 bridge where they built a 477 unit apartment complex. Check it out if you want to see some examples of Libville planning.

Yeah, unfortunately it is. I live in Rockwall county but in the City of Rowlett. I want Rockwall to annex us into the city. Rockwall is Conville. Modville might be like Greenville maybe.

Bob, I think I know the apts. you ar talking about but not the bridge. The apts. are on the right hand side of 66 westbound side and I know of a deck and walk way in that same area. Wwhere is the bridge?
