I met up with two other fisherman around the High Island area yesterday hoping for some heavy bull redfish action and we were greeted with minimal surf and relatively flat seas. Once on anchor it didn't take long for my first run. Then a second followed closely by a third. When I spread the word to the others what bait/hook size I was using, it wasn't long and they were catching also. I don't have all the catch totals from the other two but I caught enough to make my forearms and hands sore . Yesterday was probably the best day for me all year long and best of all no sweating!
