And you don't have to holler over the wind to talk trash either. thumb

Our custom frames use the full width if the deck, and allow all doors to you storage compartment to open. Leave plenty of room between seats for both fisherman on our custom frames. Comes with frame and swivel.

We fish several CAT Tournaments, and when you are sitting in a quality seat, it make staying and fishing much better. Those little plastic seats will have your butt numb in a couple hours. With out frames you provide your own seats, so you can have the type of cushioned seat you would like.

Fishing 2 fishermen out the front of the boat is NO contest to fishing 1 in the front and 1 in back. Most boats are 16' - 21', so it take a huge brush pile to keep both fisherman over a pile. With the double seat, bout fishermen are exactly over the brush pile, and in the strike Zone. Either person can work trolling motor, and both can see fish finder. Can't really keep back seat in the Strike Zone very well. For crappie fishing with 2, the 2 Seat Set Up is the ticket.

I'll try to post a PIC or two of a couple of Seat Frames we have built when I get home tonight.

Keith

Without a doubt... Keith's frame is the best I have seen out there for 2 anglers fishing front deck. Best for comfort and safety. thumb

And talking trash is almost as much fun as catching fish.

The frames Seats spin 360 degrees. You just turn the seat facing the back, sit down, and spin the seat around. If you fall out of the boat, you probaly should be in one in the first place. The Seat Frames we build are Cusstom frames. They use the cmplete width of the front deck, where as most fme are build to fit ALL boats. They sit on the lids of th deck, where you can't use the Storage Boxes. As with the other Seats shown, they sit to close to where you are rubbing against the other fisherman, to having your rod bumped, or the Butt end of the Rod is poking the other guy.

We custom build ours so all doors will open, and are usable. We have built the to go onLow Profile Boats, and the Deep V's. They are very well built and will not move when being trailered.

Here are a couple that I have PICS of:

Jig'ums Frame. Due to being a BIG man. Matt wanted his frame as far back as possible, so you haft to step over the frame. But you can get uo on the deck floor before having to step over, and holdon to the frame while doing so. If you fall over with Matthew's frame, you should probably not be in a boat to start with. But like I said, these are built to owner specs.

Here is one that you can sit down on and spin around. Not much chance of falling off, unless sitting in a seat is hard for you to do.

Just lift it out when/if you want to get back to your single seat. I don't ever take mine out, all I do is crappie fish, but Sand Bass ever now and then. And we can both cast out if the front, or my brother will move to the back.

I also just added 2 more pedistals to the front of my boat and you dont have a big frame in the way to store. Then i made some rod holders that fit in the 3/4 hole that i use when im spider rigging!

The problem that most people have with the adding of pedistals is the altering of the boat. When you do this, you can't get your boat back to its orginal place. If at some point you need to sale your boat, you'll need to find someone who wants to use the boat for the same purpose that you did, or you have to take less money than the boat is worth, for altering the boat.

Boat Frame just lift out, and boat is back to orginal place. Usually it is not in the best interest of the boat, to cut holes in the deck, or install things that can't be replaced without changing, or altering the structure of the boat. Just something to consider if you have a nice boat. Most are in the $20,000-$30,000 or more. so make sure you are thinking of everything before you cut holes in your boats.

Boats that are Crappie Editions, have the stuff built in that can be removed, and not change the structure othe boat. If you spend the money to have it done in this way. It is not a issue, but usually cost.
