hmm, we getting sleet here on Lake fork. Thinking about the weather this morning, thoughts came across my mind about our fishing reels.Not sure the connection, must be that tooo cold for me to wet hook.
In case, you are a true grit angler on days like today and find your reels sluggish, ask your fav repair shop what the temperature rating of products used on your reels. If using products that will not hold up under your fishing conditions, request that they change products. Most definitely you do not want any products used that will melt in hot weather or coagulate in cold temperatures. We always share with our clients products we use on their reels and why. Never feel uncomfortable inquiring...

So what do you suggest?

Cold = Yellow Rocket Fuel?

Hot = SuperLube or traditional Abu oil?
