what do you guys think about torsion axles vs leaf spring axles on standard on most boat trailers?

Once you go torsion you'll never go with anything else. None of the bouncing. Your tires will last twice as long and the trailer is quieter and pulls better. Its a no brainer for a boat trailer.

Much better except for you will need to carry a bigger than normal floor jack for the trailer. The small ones we have carried for years are not big enough. I know because luckily we had 2 jacks.

Very smooth ride for sure. I use to keep a floor jack in my truck when pulling a trailer with them.

My trailer came with shocks on it, I sure do like the Ranger trailers, my Triron trailer is ok but I don't think it is as nice as the Ranger.
