Myself and fellow member went out Friday with "The Bombay" aka Paul Rogers. The winds were predicted at 20-30 out of the N.

Paul, using his guide skills took us out in some semi-protected waters and it didn't take long before it was GAME ON!! We dropped the hammer on our first 50 sandies in about 1.5 - 2 hrs. Fighting a hard wind and battling momma nature the whole time. I had to use pinpoint accuracy to spit my Copenhagen and clear his boat with changing winds and a boat turning directions. Pretty sure Paul got away with just a few grains of Cope on his gunwales???

Paul kept us in the action all afternoon, taking us to a spot where you couldn't drop you line in before the schools were hammering away on the fall. It was lights out probably 120-150 in total. A little too dicey to chase the hybrids but he was willing if we gave the request. Being keen to wicked waters many years /duck hunters we knew to enjoy our exploits and call it a day.

Paul was topnotch in every way and he will put you on the fish. Thanks buddy! Will do it again for sure!

Sounds like a great trip! He is a heck of a guy to fish with! I heard he has some open days but can't figure out why!

Nice job guys!

Thanks Muddog, Glad you had fun! You definitely have some work to do on your dipping skills...lol! Nothing a little scrubbing couldn't handle!

Way to go Paul! I cannot believe you were out in that wind. I was looking out all day and by the Harbor Bay side it looked like the ocean out there. My old adage is no excuses the fish have to eat. They don't say, "Oh no the wind is too strong today let's eat tomorrow." You are a no excuses kind of guide! Late Friday afternoon I ran down to open the drain cocks on my boat due to the freeze coming and here comes Rockwall Roy and a buddy pulling back into Harbor Bay. Come to think of it he said he saw you out there. We sat at the dock talking quite awhile and nearly liked to have froze! Happy Fishing.
