i bought a pink american rodsmith - susan coleman rod, for momma, broke it 1st time out, called american rodsmith - they blew me off, no call back, nothing! - bps took care of it.

BPS takes back all of their stuff. By "their"s I mean BPS, Tourney Special, Lazer Eye, Red Head, etc... I believe they take it back without a reciept but only give store credit.

If they still make the model, they will let you exchange with no problem, if that model is not offered anymore, they will only do last sales price of the item.

You wont believe this. I purchased a St. Croix pitching stick to match with my Shimano Curado 300EJ(not purchased at BPS for 189.00). I was offered insurance, which I declined, and I was told that it offered a one time replacement if lost or stolen, no questions asked. I asked could you repeat and she did. Never heard of such.
