I have a 7'6" heavy mico honeycomb rod. I like it. It is light for what it is and it's pretty sensitive.

Yes they are but with the micro guides be very careful about how you break off if you get hung. You can pop the guides out and not even realize. My friend was looking at his the other day and noticed he was missing 2 guides! lol. Im not missing any on mine so Im not sure if it was him or the rod.

Pretty good value for the money. I have 3 and I build rods but can't build a decent rod for that kind of money.

I still cannot figure out how they can build a rod with the cost of raw materials, handle seats, EVA, Guides and labor in Korea, put it on a boat and ship it to the USA, put it on a truck and take it to distribution, sell them to the retail end and transport them for the price they sell for. Go figure.

The $19.00 rods are even more a mystery to me. I can't buy the guides, blank and reel seat for that at wholesale.
