I have not seen it listed on the bank fishing map, but was wondering if anyone knows if you can fish the creek inside the park? I think I have seen people fish there before, but am not 100 percent certain and any idea what might be in there?

Im sure you can fish there i see many people fish there. also mason creek is a good place to fish on westgreen and kingsland in katy

Yeah, I've read about people fishing there on mason creek.. I should go check it out sometime, just haven't yet... Haven't really done any serious fishing in years, need to get back into it.. Where do people park to fish mason creek?

I used to go often to Mason Creek. I caught bass, bluegills, sunfish, and cats. But I stopped going since they started that Katy trail project construction.

The creek going under Clay Road into Bear Creek Park is Langham Creek. I've caught small catfish,bluegill,green sunfish, and lm bass out of the creek. The creek that goes through the golf course is Bear Creek. Mason Creek is 10 miles west and south.

Hmm might have to go try out the creek at the park when it dries out some and the weather is nice enough. I always thought it was bear creek that ran through the park, guess I haven't paid attention lol.. and yeah know where mason creek is too.
