I think they refund you the price that they are at when you go back...if I'm not mistaken. therefore you will only receive the sale price refund.

I use them and I like them. Lost one two weeks ago, pole in a holder and line got in running motor, snapped into 4 pieces.

plano academy only has medium heavy left. the spinning rods arent on sale there, just the casting rods. I grabbed the last medium that they had. wanted one to use as a crappie rig.

Just back from Academy! They had 7 rods left.....I bought 3! Nice looking rods! This will give me an excuse to match up some reels with them!

just picked up a 7' spinning rod from academy . they had all there cherry wood rods for 9.99 . all sizes and styles . the add paper and internet sales are good till the 18th

Tried the spinning rod today at lunch . Has great action for the price. I may start using it more than my Abu I bought last year . on the way home I stopped and bought the 6'6 Casting rod . was looking for the 7' might try the store in Plano tomorrow .
