I posted this in the boats section but I know there are at least a couple of guys on here that have Sea Pro boats. What are the pros and cons of your boats? I really want to know about the SV1900 and SV2100 boats == thanks

Love my 2001 180CC. Pros: Built rock solid, stable - had it some rough water, drafts in a foot, made for fishing. Cons: Front hatch is large and not as thick- holds my 225lbs but just feels a tad thin, no rod storage. I just had my repowered with an HO E-Tec and it really runs. Good luck

Yes, i too have thought the fron lid for the fish box is a little thin, but no problems so far, As far as rod storage, I have 2008 SV2100CC, Merc Verado 150 4 stroke, mine must built a little different than yours.... My rod locker holds 12 combos, up to a 7'6" rod. Then 6 holders on the console, and rod open rod storage on both sides hold ing 2 combos each. Tucked in out of the way.

Pros...

3 large recirculation live wells
Plenty of dry storage also
Laid out great, plenty of room to fish 5 people
Verado is great on performance and also fuel mileage
Heavy Deep boat, hanbdles rough water extremely well
Dry ride on bumpy days

Cons....

Center console kind of wide, could have narrower to make more walk by room
Heavy boat, make my half ton struggle sometimes.

Jedi,

Youve seen my boat many times, your most welcome to ride or drive it anytime you want.

I have a 1900cc, pretty good boat, kind of a mid range CC. Definitely a lot better and dryer than my old Carolina Skiff. Wish it had a rod locker, however we always wish for more or better upgrades. Are there better boats out there, yes, but you will pay a good bit more.

I like my 2004 SV2100 seaPro over all and just got off the phone with Jedi-Ninja Jason, telling him about the pros and cons. But mostly pros grin

Good luck Jason!

Thanks for the help Todd--was gonna go pick up the boat tomorrow evening then I thought spending that much money AND not spending time with the wife on Valentines might not be a good idea. I will go pick it up Thursday.
