Steve, I'm beginning to worry about you Guys! First there was Richland Chambers on a 20 PLUS MPH North Day when nothing but Ducks were on the Lake, and now a Wind Chill in the 20's and you're trying to catch a fish on Texoma. Take a hint when there's no Trucks/Trailers at the Boat Ramp that some one knows something. All kidding aside, it's days like yesterday when accidents happen and you might not fish again. OK.....I'm off my soapbox!

Yesterday was cold, ice on our guides and reels, what happened to the weather report of sun and 39?? Beleive me we both were aware of the dangers and did not test mother nature. We only fished in safe places. Never in any danger. We put in at two different locations and never ventured very far or into any white caps or rollers. There were two other boats in the same area. One was juggin, saw them haul in a big cat. The really bad days make the good days that much better. Some of the worst weather days have been the best fishing. Apparently we were on the wrong side of the lake (North), heard a really good report from the West side. If I had it to do over again I would have gone today instead.

JD forgot you were in Cabo, no wonder you had a good laugh. I assume we will get a fishing report from Cabo soon - maybe some personal best catches! Johnny - Too bad you weren't with us, we could have used some hot anything.

Fished with Chris yesterday- had a great time and caught some really nice fish. Took my mom out and she had a blast! Caught two of the biggest white bass I've ever seen. Thanks again, Chris. A little chilly, but the fish are out there. Read the write-up here: http://www.lsonews.com/fishing-news/2013-conor-harrisonPrayers go out to Chris and his family after his grandmother passed away yesterday morning.
