Super easy to do yourself. Just get the right boards, hardware, carpet and glue. I did 4 new boards in my garage myself. Took the boat to the ramp on a calm day, launched & tied off- 20 minutes later went fishing.
I agree, very easy. I put everything together on the pressure treated wood with wood glue and staples to hold it in place until the glue dried.
I recommend pressure treated wood so it does not rot as quickly as my origanal bunks did.
