Just got home from the Academy in Southlake. They only had 2 tournament choice kinds of rods. A pink one that went for $30 and some other one (had that goofy handle that bass guys like) that went for $15. Did they do away with those cheap ones they had that went for $10? I also like a green one they had. If I remember right, it went for $7 I think.

I hope not. If so, I'll have to try to find me another favorite cheap rod.


I know it sounds funny but I actually really like those rods.

I bought a new rod at Academy in Mesquite a few weeks ago and they had plenty of them.

Im pretty sure the one on 377/N Tarrant has quite a few of the green ones.
