when i turn my unit it on it runs just fine then the gps locates itself then my cordinates and heading start flashing and do not track or work. anybody have any clue what this is. I called humminbird and they said send $385 dollars and my unit and they would check it out! Anybody have any ideas?

Know anyone else with birds? Try hooking it up on their bird and see if it still happens. Will tell you if it's unit or external.

Also have you got software up-to-date? Did you try restoring defaults. Those help alot of times too!

If you do a software-update, I like to Restore-defaults, then do the software-update, then Restore-defaults again on the new level.

Then you manually reset your preferred-options.
Note this last step is not under the "I like" steps.
