I’m particularly intreagued with this book as Dr. Robert Gruebel one of my physics profs at SFA was during the time frame of the book Robert Gruebel AMM3c — AMM1c and a turret gunner with the VT-10. If you like Victory at Sea, you’ll love Samuel Elliot Morrison’s The Official History of United States Naval Operations in World War II.
