Alan you mentioned Rule changes? What are they for this year. I read the rules and I couldn't see any differences.

Brandon - I summarized the rule changes on the home page, 3rd paragraph. The main change was to the big fish pot. This year there will be two pots, a tournament pot and a season pot. All monies for each tournament will be paid out at each tournament, previously half went to season pot. As for the season pot you can join at anytime but only fish caught after joining will count towards the pot. The season big pot is a one time fee.

We also added a rule that if a person is going to protest or accuse someone of cheating they need to put up a 200.00 deposit and if the accusation is unfounded the 200.00 will be forfeited. To accuse someone of cheating is a pretty serious charge and can cause damage to their reputation.

All tournament registrations will be at 5:30am followed by Captains Meeting at 6:00am.

Hopefully we clearly defined tie breakers.

I've enjoyed fishing the TSA tournaments the last couple of years.
Unfortunately this years schedule does not match up with my work schedule.
Maybe I can make it to the Tawakoni tourny.

I hope he don't use the tallops from bruanig and calli.I don't think using baits from one to another is a good idea.All we need is flying carp too,in another lake.

I know the feeling, Alan does a tremendous job of running the TSA, i joke around alot with fellow members and even my last years partner. But, truthfully i will miss some tournies this year also due to work. Im gonna try to make a few but no way i can make all of them, Good luck guys, Its fun and you can learn alot fishing these if you are just starting out and also if you are a seasoned fisherman.

Congrats to winners on a beautiful fish! and to those that placed. Could not believe how skinny those fish were. 21 inch striper under 3 lbs. WOW. But the big fish stole the show.

The Texas Striper Association is pleased to announce the second tournament of the year at Lake Buchanan, March 24th, 2012. The tournament will be hosted out of Edgewater Resort. Registration will begin at 5:30am and the Captains meeting will commence at 6am. All boats must be present for inspection at that time. Weigh-in will be at 3pm at Edgewater Resort.
