That is a BEAST for Jig and Pig. NO problem with that reel. You must be Jign for some toads that are going to make a big run on you. A lot of line and extra weight that is not really needed for that application I would think. MIght be good at Falcon though come to think of it,

Please forgive me, I should have said 300e. EJ has the heavey handle.

Even the 300 is probably a little large for that but it is a FINE reel and will cast a mile. I have worked on many of them and they hold up even in the saltwater down here well.

Thanks. The 4.5 acre pond I primarily fish is full of lilly pads. I caught a 9.5 last week on a 12in ZOOM in California 420, I believe it was called and cant find anymore from BPS to Academey, Slidell, LA. I have a couple of revo s reels that would probably work, I just have the shopping bug. I had to talk myself out of buying a Shimano Crucial rod at Wayne Lee's. Had two at 99.00 each.

What in the Heck are two MIssissippi Coast Guys doing discussin' on a Texas Fishing board. YOu live here on the Coast did you say? Perry Wayne will cut you some deals on most any tackle if you push him hard enough.

YOu know Wayne Lee's is one of my Pickup points for repairs don't you?

Maybe these boyz need to Start A Mississippi Forum with carry over to LA (Lower Alabama)

Roll Tide!

Lmao. That is great to know, I work less than a mile from his store which works out great. Will be dropping a couple off for you soon.

I did cave in and by the 300EJ from Perry Wayne. I love it!!

I dont remember how I wound up finding this site. I know I am glad I did. Last time I had reels repaired was at Mike Ward's, think they are just a safe dealer now.

We will have to start our forum MS Coast Rats, LMAO.

War Eagle!!!!!
