I really like em as far as how they look. Not sure how the ride is. I think they are in the "built for speed" class. Real mean looking boat. Post a picture.

If I had the money to buy any bass boat I could, I would buy a Charger. Best ride there is.

Arguably the best rough water boats ever built. Definitely not a build for speed boat, but still can get going pretty fast if set up right. I had a 195TF (19.5') with a 200 that would touch 70 GPS. If it gets rough, they are specifically designed to trim down and let the sharp V go to work. Quality and service are 2nd to none. They have been a small private company in Missouri and still are in business today. If you go to BassBoatCentral.com, they have a Charger forum and those guys are great. They can help you with all your questions. Drive that boat proudly. Charger is the best kept secret in the bass boat world.

I agree. They ARE a hidden secret in the bass boat world. Built to run the big reservoirs in Mo (Lake of the Ozarks etc) that are frequented by the party crowd with their 30 ft, twin-engine cruiser powerboats. Being from Missouri myself I've got several buddies who own them. Getting out of my Skeeter (when I owned it) and riding in one of them felt like going from 1 ton pick-up riding over railroad tracks to a Lincoln Town Car going over the same tracks. A little sacrifice in speed, but a nice ride indeed. I'm a Champ owner right now but Chargers are definitely in the same league, or maybe even slightly better, when it comes to their rough water capability.

I have run a Charger for years and have owned the 495, 496 and 595, all were very good rough water boats. Out of all of them the 595 was by far the best riding boat I have ever owned. I have been guiding on RC for lots of years and along with that I have taken on the challange of becoming the regional sales manager for Charger/Playcraft in Texas and La. Everyone that wants to see Carger come back to Texas and La. in a big way ask your local dealer to contact me and I will see that they have them soon. The all new 2012 797 is going to be a front runner in the bass boat line up in the near future. If anyone wants any info on Charger just get in touch with me and I will help anyway possible. You can e-mail me at thurman@bassaspecialty.biz.

One of the best riding boats out there. Pretty tough too. If my brother can't destroy it that says something.

My first and only bass boat I ever purchased - 1996 18.5ft TF with a 150efi MERC. Love it, handles well but I will say that the dipped bow design allows rollers over the front when fishing in rough water. Outstanding boat non the less.

we love the charger bass boat. We are on our third one. Rough water rides are no problem. They always give you a good ride. We have saved many a fish in tournaments due to their patented cooling for fish. We have never weighed in a dead fish due to heat. You will love your boat....Enjoy and feel safe.

A bit of a regional boat, being made in Richland MO near the lake of the ozarks. Speed wise, like a Champion. Good ride. Maybe the best aeriation system on the market.
