It's an amazing fly! I tied my first deer hair popper over the weekend... let's just say it float's, but probably looks closer to your trashcan than your fly after you are done with the razor!

its pretty much for display only, I have been wanting to tie one for a while, seen a few before (regardless of what some think inspired me)..anyway I bought some of these and they are nice for pics & display..

my favorite online source for all things fly:
http://www.bearsden.com/product9316.html

tell 'em Mike sent ya, they probably wont have a clue who you're talking about

So you bought the extra tall one to hold the r##fer so you can tie hands free?

I would have asked for more than you did. Sweet fly mister.

It's more than the catfish would do.

Betsy - I caught the fly fishing bug in Cimarron, New Mexico in June of 2011. I have pulled my husband and my 7 yr old son into it as well!

or I thought so, I posted about these earlier today, well so happens the mailman dropped off a box full of 'em right after that, good for holding fly while glue is drying, photos, and of course showing off your latest work.

might be a nice prize for TFF Fly Contest winner, if you need to know more about the Contest, its free & easy ,look here and enter - http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbt...est#Post6373548
