Got any favorite places that you enjoy eating at while in Rockport? Breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
Thanks,
Roger T

The boiling pot is always a winner.

Your right..I had the boiling pot in mind, but after that, I'm lost. Hate to take out of town friends to Pizza Hut or What-a-burger, although they're not bad.

Lots of good one in that area. If you do a search you will find this topic covered extensively with a lot of good places listed. I like "Charlotte Plummers" but the "Boiling Pot" is good too.

Supposed to be an excellant burger joint north of the bridge by Goose Island (I believe it's called "Pops"), though I have not tried it myself.

Captain Benny's is very good and so is Los Comales. Hu Dat has been iffy lately and the last time I ate at Charlotte Plummers, I swore I would never go in there again.

Boiling Pot is allways good even if they have the scrawniest crabs in town. Order the Boudain for an appatizer....YUM YUM!

Crab N is always good. Very consistent and they will cook your catch. I rarely go to RP without dinner at the Crab N. Its south of town near Palm Harbor, water side.

Latitudes is excellent but pricey.

Los Comales.

Novosads, all you can eat boiled shrimp.

Crab-N, get the crab bisque for appetizer.

I will never go to Charlotte Plummers again.

Just got back from Rockport a couple of weeks ago. The best meal we had was at Latitude 28 02. The Big Fisherman was a rip off. Charlotte Plummer was about as good as Long John Silver. Crab N was good, as usual. Boiling Pot was OK, but is in danger of becoming a tourist trap.
