We fished every stump that we could see (and some we didn't see until we ran into them) vertically. I heard some guys call it "dippin". You're just letting your jig down slowly beside, in front of, and behine every stump. If they're there, you'll know it in about two nanoseconds. I only wish Rocky Top made some bigger baits..........



Great artical in crappieworld this month about dippin!! I may go out to lewisville this sunday if I can and try to find some north of little elm bridge.

That is my favorite way to fish for Crappie. I am jealous. Nice looking water in the pic and great looking Crappie! Fantastic you could take advantage of such a good weather day in the midst of sooooo many windy ones.
