Heck of a way to start a new month! My personal best, number-wise, at Medina today! 18 total fish, with 17 LMB's and a channel cat. Largest LMB was 2.5 lbs, but great fun on a medium action spinning setup!!!
Most were caught on a 4" Zoom Tube (green) and 1/4oz jig head in about 4' of water. One on a chartreuse double willow spinnerbait. 3 on a 3/8oz football shaky head with a Strike King Zero stick bait in pumpkinseed. 2 were on a 7" PowerWorm in Blue Fleck.
The lake is very clear, and about 67 degrees. I tried mostly spots I'd never been to before. Stuck to the shallower coves with gently sloping rocky shorelines. A few were on docks. Caught several, including the cat on zoom tube, around the island.
I have renewed faith in Medina...can't wait to go back!!!!!
