Ernest, Your DVD is living proof that you can teach an old
dog new tricks. I'm a fifty + year vet to crappie fishing
and have learned a lot from it. I like the way you teach
things and still keep it simple. Thanks and Good Day,

Got mine last year, the brush piles are my favorite part. I would love to know Ernest what your neighbors say about you when they see you making those contraptions!

Tons of good stuff! thumb

That's why they call it fishing and not catching!

My neighbors refer to me as the "Crazy Fisherman". I could haul a 3 story junk pile into my back yard and they would not be surprised. They would know where it was headed.

Last week I unloaded a trailer full of Bamboo and did'nt even get a comment.

LOL. Already got them conditioned I see. My neighbors just stop and look at me strangely before driving off.

I had a christmas tree tied up in the back of my truck for about two weeks to let the needles blow off. Come to find out, there was a lot of water cooler discussions as to what in the world I was doing with that tree. laugh

Got mine today (sat.) Looks as if I may become a "jighead". Went to Aquilla this morning and had to go into Whitneey to buy minnows! Had to go to 3 places before I found someone who sold em. I guess it's been a while since I bought minnows last but good grief, you'd think a baitshop would be open at 7 am on a Saturday morning!! While I was dragging the boat around trying to find an open baithouse, I realized why I stopped crappie fishing and started catfishing. With the info I have gleaned off the video, maybe I can learn to catch 1/10 of what Ernest does. High goals I know, but ya gotta start somewhere. Thanks Ernest for the video and the check will be in the mail on my way to church in the morning.

BTW, tried shallow, deep and back to shallow for over 6 hours and only came away with 3 crappie all day!!!!! Lost all my data from my handheld GPS with all the brushpile coordinates. Was gonna go to em then mark em on my Lowrance 337C DF. Got to the water and there were NO crappie fishermen there. That is 3 bad things that happened that shoulda told me something wasn't right about this trip, wink .

I just got my Crappie 101 DVD today,
and it's Great!!

It has loads of great tips and tricks, presented in a very simple and understandable manner. I can see why those who have seen it go on and on about it.

Only one problem ... you hate it when its over thumb

Thank you Ernest for sharing your knowledge with us.
I'll pop a check in the mailbox on my way out to the lake in the morning.

Who ever heard of sending a product and then trusting people to mail a check after they receive it anyway??

Ernest the world needs more old school gurus like you.

Many many thanks>>>>>>>>

Got my DVD on Friday. I have watched it 3 times, and my wife is ticked that she has been relegated to the TV in the bedroom. Do I get to blame my divorce on you? All kidding aside, great video with lots of useful info for a newbie like me. I have just now started fishing again after 25 years or so not, and I never fished for crappie back before I quit fishing. One thing that I think I will find particularly helpful, is the part with the fishfinder. I recently bought one, and have never used one before, and if I hadn't seen your DVD I would have thought that all I was seeing was weeds and clutter. I have also only fished with a jig once before with no luck. I thought that the name being "jig", meant that you jigged it up and down. Wrong! Thanks for setting me straight.
Thanks again,
Tony

Ernest,

Checks in the mail. Very good video with lots of tips. I had to take notes the second time I watched it so I could remember them all. The fishfinder slides were an eye opener. I've seen those patterns and just thought they were trees. Never knew I was looking at fish and brush. Also gotta get a longer fishing rod!

Thanks,
Richard

I got mine within 3 days of ordering. I especially like the; look at it, if you like it, then pay policy. That is faith in your product. Though, I think Ernest likes the fishing and teaching more then the businees. Once I viewed the DVD it taught me a few things I didn't know. I really liked the use of a fish finder to locate. Some of those things he pointed out I have seen on mine but didn't recognize it as bait fish. Plus the shooting under docks is a neat techinique. Great DVD, it will teach just about anyone something they didn't know before. When I go to garage sales now I will look at stuff as Crappie condo structure.

Thanks Ernest
