Decided to fish Lake Lavon with the Kayak. Put in at Ticky Creek Park and made for the point. Caught several White Bass with one Keeper. Remainder did not meet the legal length requirement so were let go. Today's Video.

Heavy rain this evening at Bethany meant a slight rain delay to fish. Rain let up; managed three Bass this round. Even more, overflow was working hard... made the water bubble in the Main Pond! Even got a video of the water bubbling. Short Video Clip.

Back to Bethany this round. Caught a couple of Panfish and several Bass using a White Grasshopper Variant and then took more on the Foam Diver. Fun stuff! Today's Pictures.

Fished the morning and later the evening at Bethany. A lot of wind but managed to catch a few. Action was slow but steady. Today's Pictures.

Summer Sounds Series has started up again at Bethany. So, tonight it was Zydeco Music playing in the background, while fishing for Bass, Bluegill, and Sunfish. Caught several Bass and Bluegill/Sunfish. Today's Pictures.

Fished Plano East Senior High School's ponds. Like that the buildings can block the wind for flyfishing. Caught a Bass and a number of Sunfish/Bluegill. A lot of fun on a Three Weight! Today's Pictures.

I fished Bethany lakes and caught 2 I got there a little late. It's extremely deep there. Not sure what bait to use but I caught the 2 bass on a Texas rig worm close to the ledges

Went back to Plano East Senior High School's pond. Been awhile since we used the Tenkara Rod. Had a Reader ask about it. Sounded like a good idea, especially when the fish were lurking so close to the bank. Most fish were caught within 5' of the bank. Today's Video.

Nice way to start the day JoeTaylor! Change of pace on this end. Ran up to Denison Dam to fish the tailrace. They weren't generating, so the water flow was minimal. Luckily the action was steady, catching a Gar, Gaspergou, and little Stripers using frozen Shad. Today's Video.
