Guys, Tiffany's opens at 5AM. I will be there about 5:15 to start registration. Come on in and have some breakfast and get signed in. Remember, you can trailer once we do a live well check, you can go to the ramp of your choice. That may be popular since it looks like the wind will blow a bit. Latest weather says the rain will be ending mid morning and it doesn't look like we will get too much. Then again, you know how much you can trust the weatherman... smile

That's great Mr. Clark we will ad you to the list. I'm here at the lake and talking with the guides and the fishing has been great. Rain is supposed to be moved out by morning so come on out and let's get this thing rolling.

I would really like to see the results from this tourney. Does anyone know what won or top 3 sack weights?

My buddy James Painter and Brad won it with 7 something.
I know they caught all their culling fish in the last 10 mins.

7.24 won it and 6.67 was second. 2.21 was big fish. Small fish were everywhere. 31 boats fished. We were hoping for more, but weather and the date interfered I believe. We still raised a nice sum of money for Lora. I will get full results and some pictures posted later this week. Thanks to everyone that came out!

We had a great time for a great cause. If this is for long term care, you should have it annually.
I still can't believe so many came out despite the rain. I don't know how bad it rained up there but in Austin and all the way up the night before it was flooding everywhere.

The fish were eating flukes in the shallows everywhere but, mostly, up shallow on a steep bank in a small cove with a laying over, still alive bushy tree. If you could find that you would catch at least 5 fish. But I broke off on a couple of nice fish and we only had 3 decent unders and the other fish we caught were stockers or slot.

Really a decent day weather wise. I know it rained a lot in the preceding 12 hours of this event. There was a call for moderate winds but they were calm to maybe 5 mph. I did not fish but attended weigh in and met some of the family. Really a lot of work and great donations went into this event for a worthy cause. If anyone still wants to help you can see the Go fund me page above.

Not sure about about the living laydown but fluke style baits produced a mess of unders for me while goofing around and fishing the bank. Enjoyed the opportunity to help Tom and Hitch run the registration/weigh-in and big props to the guides, companies and individuals that donated trips, benefit items and money to the cause.

We had a blast fishing the tournament and it was for a very good cause. Our better fish were late in the tournament and we had to leave them biting so we could make it to weigh in, so naturally we got back to them on Sunday for a few hours. LOL
