Hey folks, we've been so busy with the current hunting season, we apologize for not helping to finalize a date any sooner than now.
We've got the list of preferred dates and we will edit it and post this list in a day or two. JP is the final say about the date, but from our last conversation, he will go with the majority decision. We need to tranfer the choices people had posted to the current, officia list going. Again, we will have that post up and a break down of votes soon.
We have not had any response from a few people, if you have not given a choice then please do so.
A couple of points to consider, this trip is a 2006 trip, rescheduled for 2007.
Cost: It should remain the same as it was posted, just over $518. We will talk to Captain Elliott's to make sure on that cost, but would find it hard believe that the trip cost will go up on a weather reschedule.
Selling a spot: We have received several emails and calls about those wanting to buy a spot that has to be given up. With Captain E having the $20,00 from our account, folks will have to sell the spot directly to other fishermen. We will be happy to direct folks to those needing to sell, and all we ask is that if you sell a spot or two, please email or post up the name change so we can keep the list accurate. That action would be appriecated. We have no control over selling and buying of spots from those having to give up a spot.
Fuel surcharge: Not to worry people but if fuel costs go up a bunch by May, they may, repeat, may inpose a charge again. Just be prepared for that if prices run up again. We keep an eye on diesel costs all the time and know when the cost goes up. Again, jsut keep an eye open for that possiilty.
Once again, we will post the list once we get it transcribed to the official list and post it here in a few days.

Are we there yet??

Very interested myself. Since the top water bite may not be as good for the weekends offered, I have an excuse to venture even farther in the the realm of tackle hodem and purchase another chunk rig. Should be easy to explain to the "boss" such sound reasoning.

Really sorry that the trip got postponed, but now that the trip is in a different part of the year, I'll probably be able to go.

I'm contacting those that have to sell their spots after I return from GEM this weekend.

Cinco Tuna Reschedule date is May 4th-6th, 2007

Below is the list as accurate as possible, with the changes to the format. Look over the list and if there is any error regarding you, post up so we can change the information.
If you have a "sell" by your name and that is incorrect, please let us know as well.
If there are "???'s" by your name we do not have an answer from that person on whether or not they are committing to the rescheduled date.
The price everyone has paid is $555, and there is a $35 fuel refund that will be handled on the dates of the trip.
Anyone that needs to sell their spot, either let folks know by posting or by some other way and handle the transaction on your own.
As mentioned, the $20,000 is in Captian Elliott's hands and any spot for sale needs to be taken care of directly between those involved in that transaction.
If you do sell a spot, we would appreciate an email at too@outdoorstexas.com or a call to us at (210)215-3877 so we can change the names. That's all we need to know on selling a spot, the name of the person that bought the spot to keep the list accurate.

there seems to be some confusion with vance whatley's spot. he seems to think he is going to get a check from the organizers of the trip for his spot. otherwise he is going to show up and fish. he had issues with others on this trip and thought they bought his spot to keep trouble from brewing. as i said if he doesn't get his check he will be onboard. some one with more powers than me needs to resolve this issue soon....rick
