Wading and Sight Casting Report; Seadrift, TX 7/26/17 - 07/27/17 12:19 AM

The first feed yesterday morning yielded a few keeps and several smalls on DSL watermelon. Now the mid-day feed was 20-25" trout on topwaters, spicy pumpkinseed, and dirty tequila. All fish were caught over knee to thigh deep grass beds.

I think today sight casting reds with a good 'ol client was among the top 3 best days. After trolling a few ponds with little to no redfish, we found ourselves powerpoled down in front of a drain. This drain was 4-5ft deep surrounded by a foot of water, and literally hundreds of redfish cruising in it. For 2 hours we cast at fish, not all would eat, but we caught our fair share. It was really hard to leave, but our arms and Bugg Lures were whooped!

Fishing remains consistent with several solid fish each day being caught. Come on down before school sports put a strangle hold on you. We have plenty of availability for August and September.
