4-Hour Galveston Party Boat Review - 07/28/16 11:01 PM
I know a lot of people consider them a waste. But my daughter wanted to go. So we went yesterday morning. When I reserved my spot last week GPB was honest on their report that the fishing hasn't been great. Figured for the money she would at least like the boat ride and seeing the big ships and whatnot. Fishing wasn't great, but it was steady. She caught a couple hard heads, croaker, and whiting. I caught 2 small sharks. Couple people did catch some decent size sharks. One was a Bonnethead that I saw. Not sure what the other species were but they were keeper size.
The deck hands were 2 younger kids. Early 20's I would say. They were great. Really worked hard and were very personable. There were a few other kids on the trip and they looked like they were having a blast. All and all I thought it was a great trip. Even in the pouring rain.
She's not a morning person.
But once she started catching she got fired up.
