Scouting Paid Off! Seadrift, TX

With all parts of the bay producing fish, from the shell to shorelines. A buddy and I decided to check out some other territory for my upcoming string of trips. With the ENE wind we decided to try our luck in the surf, and I'm glad we did. I haven't seen a bite like that in awhile. We caught and released some 50 trout between 19-22", all caught on 1/4oz jig head with any dark color plastic. I changed colors 6 or 7 times and it didn't seem to matter.
