Belly boat? - 01/12/16 07:51 PM
I will be staying bayside South Padre next November. The water immediately adjacent to the house I will rent is fairly deep. I was wondering if using a Belly Boat is a bad idea? I have never heard of it done but not sure why? Perhaps currents can be too strong? Thoughts?

Ever kicked a bull shark in the head?

There's simply no reason to wade deeper than waist deep, the fish are in knee deep there.

Jim, are bull sharks only in deeper water? Are they not a threat to wading fisherman? Is there something that makes a belly boater particularly vulnerable?

I've seen six foot Bulls in a foot of water way far in the back lakes. What the heck are you doing here?
As far as wading gear don't want anything that attached to me.
