Port A Jetty

Anyone know if you can drive to the Port A South Jetty?

I heard they closed the beach and its about a mile walk to get to the jetty. Then someone else said it was still open but only for 4x4's.

I just tried in my Suburban. Lots of water and very soggy. Turned around.
