Need Rockport Help!!!!

Heading down in June with my family. Never been there before so anything will help. Also may be in search for a guide for a day. Thanks in advance.

June is a great month to fish this area,

Live shrimp is plentiful, Croakers are large enough to stay alive and frisky and if you are rigged with the right soft plastic and jigheads ...lures will compete with that live bait !!!

Guides are easy to find. Good guides are hard to find, depending on your taste and tolerance. I prefer to get a guide who will let you fish and learn (not just to fill the cooler), but I don't know anybody in Rockport that I can recommend. Good luck, and if you find a good one, post your thoughts.

We caught snapper in the gulf. He does Bay trips too,haven't done that yet.
