August/September port aransas guide recommendations?

I posted yesterday about seasons and got some great info really quick, so thank you. I am looking to do a ~10 hour private charter from anywhere near port aransas in either august or september of this year. It's going to be 5 or 6 of us and I would like to target reef fish and maybe some kings/amberjacks. Not really wanting to do a sport fishing, take turns reeling in fish, kind of thing. I would like to have a proven guide vs. googling and hoping for the best. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Also, we are trying to get some drinking in during the trip, so being able to bring our beers or buy some drinks on board is a must haha. Thanks again!

One option you have is to charter the Pelican at Deep Sea Headquarters. They do 10 hour charters ..... or at least they used to. Captain James Wheeler has already told me he will be hitting the Blackfin tuna hard in Aug-Sep-Oct so if you could gather a few more folks to charter that boat he would put you on AJs, Vermillion snapper and maybe some tuna too. As a charter you should have some say in what the boat fishes for.

On their charters you can take your own Ice chests .... food and drink.

Get Capt Mark with Bill Busters Charters fished with them twice last summer and we smoked them. Cool folks too.
