Anyone running Lowrance hook 9

Looking for some feed back/ review on the hook 9. Thanks

I know some guys that do.. they're happy with them overall but I dont know the specifics.

Doesn't seem to be a very popular unit.

I think it's more about the fact that everyone has already gotten an HDS or Garmin for salt. That's what I have. it's not like we were all going to go buy the lesser unit after we all have all the bells and whistles. That said, I've heard a few guys say they were happy with theirs. Check on on freshwater boards and see if there is more of a freshwater following.. they are a relatively recent addition to the lowrance line.

I install alot of the HOOK line on bay boats. This last year I opened up South Texas Boat Outfitters. The HOOK line is super easy to use. Pretty much just a fish finder and a gps. Nothing fancy. Simrad and Raymarine both have new nice fancy gps/fishfinders/with nema2000
