I heard the trout & red fish are off the Rockport pier?

Was at Academy, and talking to a guy. And he said off the pier in Rockport the fish are running at night. Thinking about going down there in the next couple weeks. Any tip or suggestions? Thanks!

Best chance is probably off the Copano Bay Pier. During the night under the lights you can slam the trout. Lots of drum all times of day. Redfish I am not sure about.
