Black drum on plastic!

Been fishing a area holding alot of these be big black drum. We made one mile drift and I counted 10 of them. Was fishing a Red/White Down South Lure on a 1/8oz jig. Had two hits and one hook set. Great fight on a trout rod!

Still have dates open this summer and Snook fishing is gonna heat up soon. Lets knock off that bucket list fish.

I catch black drum a lot on the Rockport rattler jigs I invented and a variety of soft plastics - never caught drum that much on plastics before that.

We caught a couple of them last week on sand eels, buddy from New York, who talks like well...a New Yorker, almost fell off the scooter.."what the f is that?"

i bet that was a heck of a fight on light tackle
