I had no idea they fought so hard, and I was kind of annoyed at my guide for making me fight it the first 50 minutes with no belt. About 50 mins in he said here, wear this belt and man did it help me out.....I could reel on the way down and use my legs on the way back up with the rod......

Little bit better picture of it coming into the boat, man when the sun hit it it just sparkled a magnificent color....and I had no idea the sun darkened them when they were out of the water for a short period

Nice marlin and Mahi Mahi , always wanted to catch a marlin, those Mahi Mahi are fun to catch and nothing more delicious than fresh Mahi Mahi on the grill. Off the coast in ft lauderdale they would go float 2x4s or barrels for the Mahi Mahi and we would drive by them and pull Mahi Mahi after Mahi Mahi off them.

I had to give the fish to them, they said down in St Lucia all fish caught belong to the boat. I challenged them on it and they pointed to a small sign on the boat.

Nope, said down there all fish are the property of the boat so they kept all of them. Oh well, at least I got to experience catching that thing, it was the best thing ever! No fish even comes close to that fish.
