Hello I am new to the forum and just moved to Beaumont a few months ago and am looking for some fishing spots and tips. I have been to Pleasure Island a couple of times and have mostly caught croaker and hardheads. I do not own a boat so I have just been fishing from the shroe. If anyone could give me some advice, I would really appreciate it!!

Go further down to Umphrey Park go out on the pier and talk to the locals. flounder out there will start moving after a couple cold fronts. Look up articles by Chester Moore.
Not a bad time to fish the beach front from sabine to rollover. Lots of trout being cuaght in the surf.

You can also hit other side like dick Dowling or even keith lake.
