There's a bazillion of them running up and down the coast, some owner should pipe up pretty quick.

As far as the 'zuke goes, if you have a local dealer, probably good, hard to find parts for and expensive when you need them.

One more thing...Read up on corrosion issues with the zukes. The newer ones don't seem to have the issues the early 2000 models have.

Carolina Skiff makes a durable shallow running boat.

I ran a 24' CS while guiding for 8 years before I sold it.

It brought me home in 2002 when a "gust front" from the north in June brought 70 mph winds and wreaked havoc on many guides boats and sunk shrimp boats that took some shrimpers lives with it. I navigated in 70 mph winds and some serious waves with no problem across Copano Bay with the 24 ft. CS and a 115 Mariner @ 3000 rpm.

No doubt the CS is a boat that will keep you safe, ... and you should enjoy it if you like to be able to fish skinny and also hit the deep reefs.

I have an older 4 stroke Suzuki 140 and it has been dependable and pretty good on fuel.
