4.5 hrs of magic

My wife decided to suprise me with a trip to Destin for my birthday. Over the last year the discs in my spine neck and t spine are busted or bulging causing me to go on narcotics for pain. I hate pain meds. Well she told me to hire a guide and go fishing through the TFF I found one. Captn. Justin Leake of Panama city Inshore. We get to Mirimar Beach (Destin) the condo she rented was awsome 12th floor. I checked the weather am t storms was the forecast for the scheduled fishing. I called Justin and informed him I don't fish in lightning he checked the hourly forcast and said we should be ok. Met him at 6:15 am we were on our way at 6:30 am caught some bait pogies is what he called them. He then told me that my son and I were lucky that the winds were calm. He already had these big top water poppers rigged.The night before I told him we were sport fishing and Jack and Cuda was on the list that said if it bites I'll catch it. Here are some pictures as it was non stop action.

We also caught Bonita,blue runner,and the Cuda were just chasing our baits. Top water Amber Jack WOW I have been ruined as a bass angler. Big thanks to the TFF for pointing me towards an awsome guide.

Sore everything that said my last fish nothing in either arm worked. I was exhausted and still wearing a big smile even today.

destin is beautiful but i have never gotten to fish there,we snorkled and beached it with family.looks like fishing was great congrats and hope your neck is better!catching fish usually makes my aches and pains subside.
