The water has finally warmed up over 70 and the trout are hungry, went out last Friday 4/10 and had our 4 man limit in just a couple hours. On Saturday the 18th we had another awesome bite, 4 man limit with a bonus giant red fish.

I'd like to know where you are finding these fish sat. the water in CC bay was chocolate milk and rough as hell.


I was down there week before last as well and same thing....fish were caught on Friday but after the front they locked up. only a few trout and a few blacks were caught from the guys I talked to back at the dock

txtrophy I've fished these waters for a number of years now and depending on the weather and time of year I can often pattern the fish pretty well. As you mentioned CC bay is nasty and so is much of the Northern LM, therefore I headed south in search of cleaner water and bait. Once I located what I was looking for we made 3 drifts and had our 20 trout a couple puppy drum and 1 oversized redfish. We tried to find some drum but after releasing over a dozen keeper trout we decided to head home in the event one of the storms came over our heads.

Went out Saturday and faced weird weather conditions, everything from 25+ mph south wind to 25+ mph North winds mixed with rain showers however we managed a decent box.

Went out today with a fellow TFF member an had a great trip despite the 25+ mph winds.

We've been experiencing large amounts of wind and rain lately, however the fish are still hungry. if you don't mind some sea spray and a little chop the fish are biting extremely well. I charge $150 a person for half day trips(6hrs) an $200 a person for a full day (8hrs) I supply all tackle, bait, and reels.

You are correct, you cannot keep the guides limit, that was a non paid trip.

Had another quick day, we have calm weather an the fish are biteing. Here's two limits of trout an some bonus drum.

Had a boat load of youngsters the last couple days, fish were biteing great.

This family experienced a great bite this morning limiting out by 10am.

Ran a double today, experienced a great bite this morning limiting out on trout by 10, an then caught two limits of drum in the afternoon.
