Anyone do any wade fishing in this area? My Wife wanted to take some wildlife pictures, so we took a trip over there. There is a lot of easily accessible shoreline around Frozen Point.

If I remember correctly most of that area is mud. Bubba don’t wade mud

Quite a few people wade that area to the North of Frozen point. The point itself always has bank fishers on most days.

Can anyone else who fishes this area comment on the bottom's makeup?

If the water level is normal you can wade shallow in a few areas. Low water, low tide the mud is miserable. Maybe worse than miserable.

Poot mud is zero fun. As in you can actually kill yourself in it. If you've never sunk butt deep and can't move, you better hope someone with a boat can hear you. Cause you're not going anywhere.

We wade sand, we wade shell and we wade grass. Mud? Out of the boat, always.
