Policy change at Williams Party Boats - 12/06/17 04:56 PM

This may be old news, but it's new to me. I've been on the overnight 36 hour trips on the Capt John before, and their "no bringing food or drink" policy kinda turned me off.

Since I've got a couple weeks off from class this month, I called them to see if they have any open spots on a tuna trip. Yes, they do, and they've updated their food policy so it's similar to Galveston Party Boats. A small soft cooler is allowed, and more importantly, I can bring bottled water and food in my backpack.

Still no alcohol allowed, but I rarely drink while I'm on the water anyways. But it's nice to be able to bring my own food that's (probably) healthier than the microwave cheeseburgers from the snack bar. Also nice to have a few liters of water so I don't have to shell out lots of money for little bottles on board.
